Pedagogy Day

Pedagogy Day is organized with the morning common to all faculties and the afternoon faculty specific.

In the afternoon program, the Faculty of Medicine puts focus on the "new" 5 ECTS credit modules. The minimum unit in the curriculum is 5 ECTS credits, and teaching (including PBL), learning objectives, exams, etc., to some degree, must be rethought. This has already occurred in some programs and experience has been gained with 5 ECTS credit modules. In other programs, the restructuring has not yet taken place.
Program
13.10 to 13.20: Welcome by Egon Toft, Dean
13.20 to 14.05: Presentation of three 5 ECTS credit modules
Three instructors will present three program-specific existing or future 5 ECTS credit modules. The main challenges in converting to 5 ECTS credit modules will be addressed.
14.05 to 14.20: Break – coffee, tea and cake.
14.20 to 15.05: Discussion and idea generation: How do we solve the challenges that the presentations of the three modular cases have identified?
Annette Lorentsen, Head of Department and Lone Krogh, Associate Professor, both in the Department of Learning and Philosophy, will facilitate the process.
15.05 to 15.15: Conclusion and evaluation of Pedagogy Day by Jesper Franch, Head of School, School of Medicine and Health.
