AAU has over 2,500 permanent staff distributed across many types of jobs and many different areas of employment:

  • Academic staff employed in connection with research and teaching includes professors, associate professors, assistant professors, research assistants, PhD students and others.
  • Technical and administrative staff, who undertake technical and administrative tasks, includes for instance case workers, communication staff, cleaning staff, IT-staff and building supervisors.
