Target group

The Master in Information and Communication Technologies is an international master’s programme offered by the center for Communication, Media and Information technologies (CMI) at Aalborg University Copenhagen (AAU-Cph) designed for you who work in the ICT industry and want to keep working while taking a master’s degree. The mICT programme helps executive students address key technical and business challenges in their company with relevant academic coursework and a concurrent work-related project. The courses are primarily given in the evening and during weekends.

Via the mICT programme, you will become a professional in information and communication technologies (ICT) based on the highest level of international research. You will have gained in-depth knowledge and understanding of issues within the areas of service development, ICT infrastructures, markets and business models, and, on a scientific basis, reflect on the technical, organisational and market drivers in the convergence of ICT as well as the interplay between technology, market and user issues.

Furthermore, you will learn the importance of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship for ICT solutions and services and understand the relevance of the needs of the end users, their use of ICT, and the mechanisms that influence the user experience and the acceptance of new technologies.
