In order to be admitted to the Bachelor's programme in Language and International Studies, English at Aalborg University, you need the following qualifications:
- Danish A or or equivalent on another Nordic grading scale
- Upper secondary school exam with a minimim GPA of 4,0
- English A
- History B or History of Ideas B or Contemporary History B
- A second foreign language A or B (depending of numbers of years studying the language).

Language and International Studies, English (LISE) at Aalborg University (AAU) prepares you to be an informed, ethical actor in relation to ranges of issues on today’s world stage. LISE prepares you to continue your education in a range of MA degrees at AAU, throughout Europe and Scandinavia and the world round – from degrees focusing on international culture and communications to degrees focusing on development, international relations and regional studies.
LISE also participates in AAU’s Global Graduate Program, and maintains an extensive guest lecture and special activity series.
