Who can apply?

The Innovation and Societal Challenges Semester is available as a 3rd semester options for master’s degree students in the following programmes:

1. Students enrolled at the Master program in Economics and Business Administration, Aalborg University, including: International Business, International Marketing, Accounting, Organisation and Strategy.

2. Students from other AAU master’s programs with a preapproval from their home study board.

3. Erasmus+/exchange students (Master level) with a preapproval from their home university and from the receiving Study Board of Business Administration, AAU. 

It is possible to enrol in the whole semester or in single courses (M1-M3). Enrolment in single courses requires pre-approval by the home study board. 

How to apply if you are already enrolled at AAU?

AAU students can register for the specialisation semester from May 15 to June 1, 2020. 

Applicants applying for Master's programmes at Aalborg University must submit results of an IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge test with the below mentioned minimum scores:

Danish B level in English compares to:

IELTS (academic test). 6.5 overall band score
TOEFL (internet-based): Minimum score: 85
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency (CPE): 180 / level C1
Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): 180 / grade C
ECPE: Passed test including certificate

The application process for guest and exchange programmes at AAU differs. The application form and process is depending on whether you are an Erasmus guest student or a paying guest or an exchange student.
