Requirements
The following bachelor's and diploma engineering programs provide access to the master's program as a civil engineer in Chemical Engineering (Chemical Engineering):
- Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (Esbjerg)
- Kemiteknologi (Aalborg)
- Kemi og Bioteknologi, diplomingeniør (Esbjerg)
- Kemi og Bioteknologi, diplomingeniør (Aalborg) with a specialization in chemistry

Restricted admission
The master's degree program in Chemical Engineering has restricted admission. This means that not all applicants who apply in time and who meet the entry requirements are guaranteed a study place. The program expects to offer 15 study places for the upcoming admission. If you have a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from Aalborg University in Esbjerg, and you apply in time for the master's degree program in Chemical Engineering in direct extension of your bachelor's degree, you are required to be admitted to the master's degree.
