The first year

During the first year of the CIR program at Aalborg University the students will be part of AAU’s MA Program in Development and International Relations combined with a specialization in Chinese Area Studies. In addition to gaining a fundamental knowledge about Chinese society, students will become familiar with a wide variety of theoretical approaches to development and international relations.

 The second year

The second year of the CIR program at University of International Relations delves deeper into modern Chinese society and foreign policy. While experiencing Chinese society and culture on the spot in a small and quiet campus in suburban Beijing, students have a chance to converse with a number of distinguished professors in the fields of international relations, politics, economics and culture.
