Application and requirements

A bachelor's degree in general Economics and Business Administration (three years) equivalent to a Danish Economics and Business Administration Bachelor, or the equivalent is required. 

Guest/exchange students are expected to have a minimum of three years of study within the field of general business administration and, depending on which semester they apply for, some theoretical knowledge and/or relevant practical experience in international business.

Restricted admission (from 2018)

The admission to the master’s programme in Economics and Business Administration/International Marketing is restricted from 2018. This means that not all applicants who apply for admission before deadline and meet the admission requirements are secured student places. The programme expects to offer 38 student places.

SELECTION FOR ADMISSION IS BASED ON THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA

Achieved qualifications and the grade point average for ECTS credits obtained during the qualifying bachelor's degree at the time of application.

 

If you do not have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration!

Official English language requirements

Applicants applying for Master's programmes at Aalborg University must submit results of an IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge test with the below mentioned minimum scores:

Danish B level in English compares to:

IELTS (academic test). Minimum score: 6.5
TOEFL (internet-based): Minimum score: 88
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency (CPE)
Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)

How to apply

When you apply for a Master's programme at Aalborg University, you have to use STADS-DANS which is a national Danish digital application system in which the entire application process is handled.

Please note that some of the programmes offered may be subject to restricted admission. That means that the individual programmes may have a limited number of student places. Information on the programmes affected and the exact number of places offered will be available shortly when finally clarified.
