“The Lighting Design programme at AAU in Copenhagen is a young, progressive education which focuses on working with both natural and artificial light within the context of architecture, media and technology.
One of the key qualities of the programme is a strong human-centred approach that always prioritises the user during the design process as well as in the final design outcome.
Throughout the studies, I have also gained a deep understanding of physical elements of light, lighting technologies, perception, contextual considerations and research-based design methods. I believe directing my educational path towards lighting gives me a good capability to work cross-disciplinary without limitation to a specific professional area within design, architecture, engineering and others.”
