The program is an engineering program leading to the “Cand. Polyt” title. It is designed to extend on Industrial or Business Administration Engineering bachelor profiles and will give you competencies and skills for advanced analysis and solution design for a broad range of management engineering topics.
A range of technical/engineering bachelor degrees in business or industrial engineering fulfill the admission requirements. Please see the degrees in the curriculum. Students with another technical/engineering bachelor degree may be admitted, if the applicant is considered as having comparable educational prerequisites. In order to obtain the best outset for the learning activities requiring solid analytical skills, we strive to recruit students with overlapping skills and knowledge.

The University can stipulate requirements concerning conducting additional exams prior to the start of study for bachelor profiles with substantial gaps relative to the recommended competence profile.
The specialisation in Operations and Innovation Management
Furthermore, the following bachelor degrees also qualify for the specialisation Operations and Innovation Management:
- Information Technology with specialisation in Business (AAU Aalborg) (Curriculum version 2015, 2019 or 2020)

All applicants must, as a minimum, document English language qualifications comparable to an "English B level" in the Danish upper secondary school (gymnasium) (cf. the Admission Order).
