Description

TITLE:

"Study on novel heterojunction solar cells"

ABSTRACT:

Perovskite solar cells and DASH solar cells are developing rapidly and shows very good prospects among the solar cell development. In this thesis, we concentrate on three types of novel heterojunctions: organic/inorganic hybrid perovskite heterojunction solar cell, n type crystalline silicon heterojunction solar cell using metal oxide as electron transport layer, and p type crystalline silicon heterojunction solar cell using PC61BM film as electron transport layer. Considering the cost of technology and the future application of these heterojunction solar cells in perovskite/crystalline silicon high-efficiency tandem cells, we adopt a low-cost solution method to prepare a novel carrier transport layer, and all fabrication processes are under 200℃ . We have obtained: i.) a PCE of 18.85% for high quality PIN-perovskite solar cells was gained via controlling thickness of PEDOT:PSS layer and therefore their conductivity; ii.) for NIP-perovskte solar cells, by the control of SnO2 film morphology, PCEs were significantly increased from 17.15% to 19.63% with less hysteresis; iii.) by sol-gel method, novel n-SHJ solar cells based on TiO2, ZnO, and SnO2 films as electron transport layer were obtained with PCEs of 18.2% 18.5% and 18.6%, respectively; iv.) by using solution method, we fabricated novel p-SHJ solar cell based on PC61BM films as electron transport layer via improved the interface having a double passivation layer with PCE significantly increased to 19.1%. having great potential for development.
