AAU has launched a new talent program, AAU Excellence, aimed to foster creativity, innovation and aid talents in achieving prestigious grants. The selected researchers represent various fields, contributing to AAU's strategic focus areas. Head of CfU, Professor Mette Buchardt, has chaired the committee responsible for the final selection of eight promising researchers to AAU's prestigious new talent program. The program, designed to nurture exceptional academic talent, provides significant support to these emerging talents, offering opportunities to engage in groundbreaking research and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The academic committee chaired by Buchardt also includes four other professors from different faculties and departments, combined representing the vast potential and scope of AAU research.
