Carbon Agriculture

Three things you spend the most time on in your work?

  • Workshops
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Attening agricultural fairs

What motivates you?

I usually say food and people…But here, of course, the answer must be people. Talented people who are enthusiastic about their profession, entrepreneurial people who work hard to succeed with their business, good relations that make my work meaningful.

What is the most important learning in your working life so far?

Being consistent and detail oriented :-)

How do you use your education and AAU expertise in practice?

AAU problem-based learning system gave me a hands-on experience in solving complex real-life business cases which helped me develop analytical and problem solving skills which I manage to utilise on a daily basis at work.

What made you choose Aalborg University over another university?

The reason I chose to study at AAU was because the university has an excellent reputation of utilising Problem Based Learning system and its holistic approach to sustainability research and innovation.

What made you choose the programme you did?

The reason why I chose to study Culture Communication & Globalisation was that the programme offers stimulus for advanced studies in marketing research, leadership, sustainability and internal/external communication in an international business context.

I believe that globalisation underscores the significance of cultural awareness in cross-cultural communication.

What is your favorite memory from AAU?

My best memories are when being involved in group project discussions in cross-cultural context as well as having the best opportunity to create theoretical framework based on existing literature review to be able to tackle contemporary issues in developing countries such as climate change and political polarisation.

What is your career advice for students and recent graduates when entering the job market?

I will recommend to be:

  • consistent
  • hard working
  • and patient

These actions make your dreams come true.
