What kind of industry is your company/organisation a part of?

Finance

What do you spend the most time on in your work?

Analysis, Facilitation and Communications

What is the most important learning in your working life so far?

Skills can be learned, so focus on what motivates you and your path to an ideal work life

What motivates you?

To create a better tomorrow, than the day before. I'm motivated by moving things forward and solving problems.

What are your best memories from your time at AAU?

Group work and free form case exams. I remember an exam that was basically "here's a problem, how would you solve it"- I loved that assignment, because it was fun and because that's basically how the professional world works.

What is the most important thing you have taken with you from Aalborg University?

How important is it to know yourself and people around you. Theory can only get you a certain length.

What made you choose your specific programme?

Having always being interested in the international political sphere, this program gave a broad platform that covered alot of subjects

With the knowledge and insight you have today, what advice would you give yourself if you were to start studying at AAU?

The most important task after graduation is to translate your theoretical skills to real-time value in the professional world.

Your best career advice for students and newly graduates?

Get out there, pick your workplace and your boss, and focus on learning the ins and outs of the professional world. Reach out and learn from people you're inspired by. Keep reflecting over what motivates you and almost more importantly what doesn't.

Fun fact?

I never cared much about numbers and yet I've spent almost 5 years in the Banking Industry. Who would've thought? Certainly not my old Math teachers.
