About Farhan Shehab
I dream of getting a PhD scholarship in my business field. I dream of not stopping or settling, but rather being a competent think tank in the Political Economy field.
I dream of financial freedom. I see myself as a ship, which is ready to sail towards another destination and adventure. I think the academic recognition AAU gave me is an achievement and a reason to be unstoppable.
I think I am still preparing.
The experience I had at AAU is not common for me. This extraordinary experience is itself a mammoth to overcome. I am moving forward without attachment to the university and the city.
Getting connected to the networks, friends, and study circles is essential to project the idea of an after-graduation scenario. For me, who does not know Danish, it is crucial to learn the language.
So, getting into language classes and applying for jobs and internships while maintaining my ongoing life in Denmark is a difficult but must-do task. I started reading a lot, learning new things, and travelling to unknown places.
The mindset, PBL model, and memories and experiences. I learned a lot not only about the academic speciality in my thesis semester, but also about the life lessons that are rare and make you uncomfortable, but relieving.
In any situation, I now define the problem, and the solution is almost close.
The buddy network event at Seaport Bowling. I met a lot of new students from different countries. I almost liked all the buddy network events. The Unirun event is very special to me, as I have never run in my life but tried it here.
Never settle based on anyone else's knowledge; be curious and question; do not fear applications; mail the recruiter asking the reason for rejection; never compare yourself to anyone, everyone has their own journey.
I rarely see them. But when we see we feel like we have found a treasure. Especially with my classmates, I have randomly met them in a grocery store, in a gym, or on a random street. In every meeting, I felt like I was refreshed and felt the longing of seeing them.
I have a hobby of buying new and old books, but not reading them
