AAU Alumni Portrait
Create your own portrait
Brand yourself, your study programme and Aalborg University
To make your personal portrait, you have to be a graduate from AAU. Furthermore, you need to be registered with a profile and receive alumni news. Create a profile with AAU Alumni here.
How to create a portrait
- 1
Choose a portait questionnaire
At the bottom of the page, you can choose the portrait questionnaire best suited for your situation. If you want to answer the questionnaire in Danish visit our Danish site here.
- 2
Take your time
It is important that you answer all the questions in detail to ensure the best possible portrait, with the most interesting and most individual details. However, we reserve the right not to publish incomplete/unfinished answers.
- 3
Remember to look through the "AAU-glasses"
The portrait is sent for review by your former programme and must be based on your time at AAU and the skills you have acquired.
- 4
Find your best pictures
Provide minimum two pictures or more, e.g. a portrait, memorable moments from your student days, or pictures related to your work. The pictures are to be sent to alumni@aau.dk. The pictures need to be at least 800 pixels in width and preferably in horizontal format.
You do not need to crop the pictures. Just make sure they have the correct minimum sizes. Your portrait will not published until we have received at least two suitable pictures.
You are also welcome to make a small video as an introduction to your portrait. In the video you can tell a little about yourself, your job or your portrait. However, this is not a requirement.
Publishing your portrait
Your text will typically be published exactly as you write it, however it may occasionally occur that certain revisions are made. You will be informed, when your portrait is published. We reserve the right not to publish incomplete/unfinished answers.
By publishing your portrait, you automatically authorise AAU Alumni to utilise and publish the material on the platforms we employ (mainly our web page, LinkedIn, and Facebook)
Finally, do not hesitate to invite other alumni with interesting careers to create a portrait.
