While working on a master’s thesis, two students and their supervisor at the Department for Health Science and Technology invented a method to detect whether or not a patient is at risk of getting a blood clot. Ever since, the Danish electronics company Acarix has been working to refine the principles of this ground-breaking invention with the objective to detect the risk of a blood clot within a few minutes.
