Important changes for NON-EU applicants
- The post-study job-seeking residence permit will be reduced to one year after graduation (previously up to three years)
- As a general rule, international students will no longer be able to bring accompanying family members to Denmark under the student residence permit scheme. For more information contact SIRI
- Newly admitted student are required to pay tuition fee for the first two semesters
- From 1 September 2027 there will be a special study activity requirement for all self-paying students with a study permit issued by SIRI. All students in this category must pass minimum 40 ECTS each academic year, however, at least 15 ECTS each semester. If a student fail to meet the activity requirement, they will be unenrolled from AAU.
