Department of Law
Aalborg University is a young and ambitious institution, offering high-profile courses strongly rooted in problem-based learning. The Law Department is home to many of Denmark’s leading researchers and offers a dynamic study community with great focus and attention to the needs of individual students.
The exchange is open to all students enrolled in studies of law at recognised institutions. For further information regarding deadlines and requirements please see How to apply.
As an exchange student
You can choose from the modules listed below. You are required to earn 30 ECTS per semester.
Bachelor level courses are open to master level students and visa versa. All exchange students will be assessed by an academic evaluator, to ensure you have achieved a sufficient academic level.
Please be aware that there may be scheduling overlaps among certain modules. Therefore, we recommend selecting additional modules to provide flexibility for adjusting your schedule later on. List modules of 30 ECTS being your 1 priority and make an additional list with modules corresponding to 5-15 ECTS in case of schedule overlaps.
Currently the exchange is only possible in the fall term (September-January), with some intensive courses starting in August.
While exchange students of course are welcome to choose courses in Danish should they have sufficient command of the language, the following courses will be offered in English:
