The specialisation Cities and Sustainability in the master's programme Urban, Energy and Environmental Planning is focusing on how to create stronger urban environments and qualities by using a more holistic, multidisciplinary and participatory approach, placing citizens at the centre, and creating benefits and life quality for the city’s inhabitants and users.
The education is framed on a strong cooperation between four European and eight international universities.
Last year of the education focus on exchange, and in the specialisation it is therefore expected that students wish to work internationally and inter-culturally.
Cities and Sustainability specialisation comes out of the The Erasmus Mundus Joint European Master in Environmental Studies - Cities & Sustainability (JEMES CiSu).
