Available study places - September intake

Available study places - September intake

You can apply for available study places from 20 June (September intake) and 18 November (February intake) until there are no available study places left. Qualified applicants are offered admission according to the first come, first served principle.
If you apply for an available study place but you already have an admission at Aalborg University this will automatically be cancelled if you are offered admission at the available study programme. If you are not offered admission to the available study programme you will keep your orginal admission.
When will I receive an answer to my application?
When you apply for available study places it is not possible for us to tell you when you will receive an answer to your application. We will of course send an answer as soon as possible, but a late answer shortly before study start must be expected.
Programmes with a waiting list
Some programmes have a waiting list on which you can sign up by creating an application in the Application Portal. Scroll down on this webpage to see the specific programmes.
Are you a non-EU citizen?
If you are a non-EU citizen you can only apply for available study places if you already hold a valid Danish residence permit.
Programmes with available study places
Aalborg University is currently not offering available study places.
